Honest to God, I was writing, just not here (or on the PDA). Attempting to transfer my new-and-improved method for writing fiction - i.e., "Just write it!" - to the realm of nonfiction, I decided to grit my teeth and bang out a first draft of my admissions essay for the library school at Simmons College. And lo and behold, it worked! I think I have the kernel of something I wouldn't mind putting my name and social security number on...
