Postseason baseball begins next Wednesday for the Sox, when they go head to head with the Oakland A's in California at the kid-unfriendly start time of 10:00 p.m. However inconvenient this is for Red Sox Nation in general, it's a perfect start time as far as I'm concerned, as I will have just returned from my teaching classes at The Greek Institute that evening. I just have to make sure that I catch that 9:30 train! Pedro Martinez will naturally start for Boston, but how the team fares after that, pitching-wise, is anyone's guess. At any rate, I'm planning to lose some sleep that night to follow the action.
