The tide is turning. You can feel it now, what was once just a hint of a reversal, and maybe just a mirage, has become tangible and real, seemingly inexorable. Did they honestly think the American people would sleepwalk forever? Two whole years after 9/11 is a long time, no doubt, but at last we're starting to break free of that awful day's terrible shadow. And not a moment too soon. It's time to ask real questions again. I don't care what your political affiliation is - hawk, dove, anarchist, fascist, whatever. We should all be sitting at the table, making these decisions that will shape the coming decade, century, and millennium. It's not enough to follow unquestioningly. This is too fucking important. Get over your fear. Get over your anger. Get over your inability to see another person's point of view. Because it's patriotic to ask questions again, ladies and gentlemen...
