And now I'm back into the novel. Chapter Nine, and I've decided that it's time for things to get complicated and ugly - maybe a little bit violent. By the time the train reached Salem Depot tonight, I was almost at 51,000 words. It felt good to return to the largest project, which I've let sit for too long. Now that I'm starting to settle in to this new schedule (insofar as I can settle into it), perhaps it'll be easier to get into a writing groove again as well...

At any rate, last night and tonight were a good start.
