The "superstation" TBS has done a very odd thing to the act of watching a movie on television. Since they routinely run a movie twice, the second time immediately following the first, it's possible to catch a movie somewhere in the middle, watch it to its conclusion, then start again from the beginning until you reach the spot when you started watching. This can't be good for one's sense of causality.
