Talk about wishful thinking: the Red Sox announced today that they would be saving their ace pitcher Pedro Martinez for a possible Game Five in their Division Series against the Oakland A's. This of course assumes that Boston, currently losing the playoff series 0-2, is going to win both games this weekend at Fenway Park. Granted, there's no better home field advantage than at Fenway, but for the Sox to run the table at this point is going to take nothing short of a miracle.
