Ask and ye shall receive: Central and East European Classical Scholarship is a website devoted to just what I was wondering about. Turns out I was right - there's a whole lot of work done in the Slavic languages still yet to be translated, promulgated, and digested by classicists in the West. I guess this means I should go back to my Russian, which I took a year of in high school (in my defense, it was only first offered in my senior year, when my German teacher returned from a sabbatical and started his very own Russian curriculum; my brother ended up taking it for three years and went on to major in it, along with linguistics, at Georgetown University)...
