Okay, this is how driven to distraction I am: just to function I have to have five browser windows open. One is for Blogger, another for webmail, another for the webpage where my old Jersey friends gather and chew the fat, another for Stickfight (although in recent days I'm cooling on this former addiciton of mine, as the site is much slower than it used to be and I'm sick of getting my butt kicked time and time again), and then finally a window for free-range websurfing. And of course that's not counting the applications I need to actually do my job here.
But that's a secondary concern...
Oh, and I forgot a sixth browser window with the Harvard Libraries' online catalog, just in case the spirit moves me to add to the pile of books in the dining room already checked out from the Widener stacks.
