and counting. I may not have written much today, but I think I've discovered the way out of this chapter I'm working on at last. As each chapter of "Confessions" looks and feels like a short story, I invariably reach that point where I wonder if I've gone horribly astray in telling the tale, only to find if I just keep writing (no matter how hard the verbal slog), the way will make itself clear. And so it has again. Chapter Eleven may not be finished yet, but the end is now in sight!
