Enjoying the slack

that is the next month, pudding or no pudding for brains, since four weeks from now I will be a student again for the first time in over seven years. As I will depending heavily on my weekend hours here to get the lion's share of my reading and homework done, I guess part of my current lassitude is an unconscious attempt to wallow in all of this free time before it goes away. Already the shadows are growing long on this extended day in the sun - in two weeks, we'll be on Intercession hours here at the Circ Desk, which means Sundays off and five-hour Saturdays for the month of June; and one of those weekends I'll be out of town for my daughter Andriana's Baptism, to boot!

That means for all intents and purposes, this weekend and the next are the last two that aren't spoken for in some way, shape, or form. So what better way to enjoy them, than to sit here and blog the days away! I'm going to be struggling to get a post in edgewise soon enough, although I resolve to do my best to keep the Jersey Exile (as well as Full Metal Hoplite and The Library Ass) running during my return to school.
