World Series of Skee-Ball: Round Two

Okay. I'll admit it. Maria kicked my ass all over the Salem Willows Casino this evening. Not only did she sweep me four games to zero (best out of seven games), but she also racked up the high score of 320. This gives Maria two points, so she now leads the World Series of Skee-Ball, 3-1...

Fortunately I more than made up for my stinging loss at the arcade with my inaugural trip to Salem Lowe, home of the chicken chop suey sandwich. I had one of those odd gustatory delights and a pepper steak sandwich, both of which were so sloppy that they needed to be eaten with a fork. But oh, were they delicious!

Another nice thing about the arcade we haunt is that it's chock full of games that Andriana can almost play by herself. She was giggling and slapping away at a "Whack A Mole" variant that featured crabs that sidled back and forth in and out of their hidey-holes. Of course she also helps her mommy and daddy play Skee-Ball by handing us our balls (and occasionally those of strangers) - judging by my performance this evening, maybe I should start letting her roll for me as well!
