Well okay, maybe 'freaky' is a little too extreme, but it is odd to be here at Circulation all day today - my first working Friday of the intercession. Instead of splitting my day between Modern Greek and the Circ Desk, as I customarily have done since last Fall, I will now be up here for the whole seven-hour shift. It feels strange not to start my day with the Greeks, but I guess I'd better get used to it...
The up-side is that I no longer have to feel guilty about my websurfing and blogging ways on Fridays. I always have so little time in Modern Greek and so much to do there that any unproductivity on my part really bothered my conscience; whereas up at Circ such tomfoolery is par for the course.
And hey, I'm blogging on a weekday again! Aren't you folks lucky?
