Still unplugged at the home office, so I'm here at the local Kinko's, paying $12/hour in order to do something that I can get Harvard to pay me roughly the same amount to do, provided that there's no one at the Circ Desk. Funny, that.
I caught a fish Sunday morning - first striper of the 2004 season. It was a tiny little thing, no more than twelve inches (if that!), but it was nice to have broken the yearlong drought that had been plaguing me and the brother-in-law. As for his part, George didn't catch any, but got enough solid bites during the rising tide to convince him that we weren't getting the evil eye from someone.
Too bad the fishing will have to wait a week, as we're baptizing Andriana next Saturday in Poughkeepsie. It is only natural then that she should be sick as a puppy right now, and has been since last Thursday. Hopefully it'll be all out of her system by the weekend... I haven't changed this many diapers since my paternity leave!
