I'm trying to make my way through Michel Foucault's Discipline and Punish, which if nothing else is appropriately titled. All joking aside, it's an interesting read, which is perhaps why I'm so frustrated that the progress is slow-going - I fear I'm going to have to skim the last half of this thing in order to finish on time for class on Monday.
Remember when I said that this Circulation Desk job would be a godsend? It's really hard to work your way through French poststructuralist thought when there's a steady stream of patrons inquiring after their depository items or seeking to unjam one of our perennially-jammed photocopiers...
