Hmm

About two weeks or so into my new unplugged reality and I find myself less and less enchanted with my favorite blogs and other beloved online haunts. Is it really just an echo chamber after all? A fortnight out of the loop and I find myself not missing my information fix nearly as much as I thought I would. Of course turn the drainpipe back on and I'm sure I would immediately lapse back into my old junkie ways, but I do have to admit it's somewhat liberating to be able to crack open a book in the evening and read for an hour or two rather than stew in the self-absorbed caustic juices of the blogosphere. Hell, I might even start writing from the comfort of my own living room!
