This chapter of "Confessions" is really starting to take shape, now I that I've given it the sufficient slack to find its own way. At times I forget that each chapter of this novel is really like a short story unto itself that needs the proper amount of time and space to develop. Yes, it makes for a book which seems to get farther and farther away from the finish line the more and more I write, but I have to have a little faith that by allowing this book to become what it wants to become without rushing or forcing it to an early conclusion that I will be rewarded when all is said and done. And written!
