Chinese food good
After two near-misses with food poisoning at the Hong Kong Restaurant, I decided not to risk a ptomaine trifecta this afternoon and opted for the Yenching instead and was rewarded for the change in habit with a delicious meal of cold Shanghai noodles and a little bit of writing time while I waited for my food arrived (the food at the Hong Kong always comes disconcertingly fast, calling to mind a pizza and sub shop I used to frequent that would make a "fresh" batch of fries by dunking the old ones back into hot oil). So I'm both up and over the 106k mark on the novel and not feeling queasy. How's that for a perfect Sunday evening on the job?
