It's a forest and a library

The Harvard Forest, located in Petersham, Massachusetts, is not only home to 3000 acres of woodland but a library containing almost a thousand books as well -- mostly specialty titles about the flora and fauna of the region. Who knew? This is of course why it's so danged hard to answer the seemingly simple question: "How many libraries does Harvard have?" They literally just keep coming out of the woodwork (pun intended)...
