The writing continues to crawl along, as I've yet to find my groove this month, but when I do get the chance to sit down and peck away at it progress is nonetheless made. The big complication is now my commute, as instead of riding the train in I now make the drive into town with Mrs. Exile. While this is pleasant for many reasons -- I get to leave the house earlier, drop off Baby Exile at daycare, and spend a little extra time with the wife, whose company I miss dearly in the evenings when I'm teaching and/or otherwise stuck in town -- time with the novel has suffered as a result, although I'm hoping that now my teaching schedule is coalescing for the winter months I can write a few thousand words a week.
