1700 words to go!

Last night I wrote close to 5000 words on The Librarian's Tale, bringing me to just a little over the 48k mark with tonight, tomorrow, and Thursday yet to bring the novel to completion. Overall I would say that NaNoWriMo has been a positive experience -- if nothing else, it's helped me get over my inability to write from the home office. The funny thing is that I'll very likely maintain a similar pace once November is long gone, as I've discovered how to exploit the various nooks and crannies of my day to creative ends in addition to my customary captive time on the train most mornings and evenings.
