So much fail in 17 syllables

For some reason it had never occurred to me to express my frustration with the MBTA in haiku form, but Universal Hub's link to a haiku Tweet about the Green Line unleashed the poetic muse:

B-Line is wretched
there is no disputation
but the E is worst

Next stop Wonderland
but I can't understand you
get off your cell phone

How is there "traffic"
it's a train, not a highway
Red Line, I hate you

Oh, poor Silver Line
neither silver nor a line
just another bus

Ride the Orange Line
and you'll see the real Beantown
hope I don't get shot!

B, C, D, and E
why isn't there an A Line?
or F Line for "Fail"

Fares keep on rising
my T-pass a king's ransom
for a pauper's ride

More Lost haiku

From last night's episode:

Brave little hobbit
Weren't you supposed to die?
Total fake-out, dude!

Overdue haiku for you

Because I didn't catch up with the last two weeks of Lost until over the weekend...

The week before last's episode:

Will you kill my dad?
The man from Tallahassee
Thinks we're all in Hell

And last week's Lost haiku synopsis:

Ben is a liar
But we already knew that
Don't you dare kill Locke!

More Lost haiku

Wrapping up last week's revelations in 17 syllables:

What do you mean
That Flight 815 was found?
"Don't take my baby!"

More Lost haiku

For last week's episode of Lost:

Poor little hobbit -
Desmond is going to kill you
Who is Naomi?

I'll try to get next week's up either Wednesday night or Thursday morning at the latest, I swear!

Lost: The Haiku Recap

Because I don't have enough time to summarize last night's top-flight episode of Lost in a manner that would do it justice, here's my review in haiku form:

Juliet's flashbacks
Make me want to bitch-slap Jack
Ben is my hero

(I suppose you could also read the summary at Lostpedia, which is one of the best sites I've seen out there dedicated to the show.)
