Libraries definitely have a different feel at night than during the day. I always hated the Countway after the sun went down. Its lights were harsh, white, and sterile; and the whole structure felt as empty and soulless as a tomb. Widener however has a warmth about it. And as the clock ticks and the day goes by, the place seems to become livlier.
