Hrmn. Stickfight appear to be down right now. A pity, because I've just started an 8-hour Sunday shift here at the Circulation Desk, and was hoping that today would be the day that I'd become a "God Of The Stick (GOTS)". Definitely not cool. But at least I'll be able to follow the Sox gamecast on MLB.com. Somehow they managed to beat the A's last night with an eleventh-inning home run by Trot Nixon. Naturally I had already fallen asleep by then, but I was rooting for them in my dreams, I tell you. It's another do-or-die situation for Boston today, but if they can somehow pull this one out as well that wishful thinking scenario of Pedro pitching a decisive Game 5 back in California on Monday suddenly isn't looking so desperate after all.
