Blog the day away?
It's entirely possible. I've been writing since I got here, more or less. Going to have to get a word count of this one when I get home. Speaking of which, I've gotten "Confessions" up to fifty-seven and a half thousand words, and well into Chapter Nine. Things are really flowing again, which is a fantastic feeling, especially since November was such a slow month for me writing-wise (and it was NaNoWriMo, too! I'm not sure why they chose November as the month to bang out a whole novel, anyhow, with all of the holidays and attendant schedule disruptions - only February could have been a more cruel choice). Already I've written more in December than I had for the whole month of November! And I've made a deal with myself not to start any new short stories until I hit the 100k mark, no matter how hard they try to burst out of my skull. And even then, I think I'm going to begin my essay/broadside on the pronunciation issue first. It's one of my New Year's resolutions for 2004 to try my hand at some scholarly nonfiction about the Greek language - the other is to get published, be it my short stories, my essays, or "Confessions"!
