Woke up this morning to find the car already buried under a half a foot of snow. Which was bad, since I had to be at work by nine and was seriously doubting my ability to get out of the non-plowed parking lot of our apartment complex, let alone drive the twentysomething miles to Cambridge. Well, fortunately I was just able to swipe the half-foot drift off of my hood and power my way to the nearest highway (which in our case is very close), where traffic was at least moving, albeit slowly; and somehow I made it to work at the Circ Desk on time.
Now of course the question is how many people are actually going to use the library today? So far the employees are outnumbering the patrons by at least a factor of three to one. Hmm. Maybe I should have stayed home!
