The graveyard planet.
Or so we should re-name Mars, if today's attempt by NASA to land another probe on our planetary neighbor's doorstep proves a failure. To date, the Red Planet has claimed 20 casualties, including a Japanese satellite last month and a European lander this past week, making the chance of sending a successful mission to Mars roughly 4 in 10. You get better odds in Atlantic City. At any rate, good luck to the brave little robot on its impending touchdown, and may it successfully evade any potshots that the xenophobic Martian Defense League might take at it.
