Methadone for the Buffy addict:
Fray, the eight-part comic book series written by Joss Whedon (with artwork by Karl Moline), now available as a single bound volume, which I picked up over my lunch break at Million Year Picnic, a.k.a. The Coolest Comic Book Store in the Universe. Fray is a futuristic tale that explores the mythology of Buffy The Vampire Slayer and Angel: The Series (the so-called "Buffyverse") in the 23rd century, long after the last vampire has been staked and the final demon sent back down the Hellmouth. Or so everyone thought. I never had a chance to buy any of the individual issues, but since I've heard nothing but great things about this series from the ranks of Buffy fandom online, and being that BtVS is now history and Angel won't be running new episodes until the middle of the month, I couldn't resist the urge!
