I knew I had a very good reason for taking Route One into town this morning - when I crossed the Tobin Bridge and looked down at the harbor, I saw that the water below was obscured by tendrils of white fog, as if someone had decided to film a cheesy horror movie along the Boston waterfront and dropped tons of dry ice into the drink to make it extra spooky. The Boston Globe snapped a fantastic picture of this phenomenon yesterday:
