The FCC versus Olympus

In an excellent Los Angeles Times editorial, Gianna Angelopoulos-Daskalaki, president of the Athens 2004 Organizing Committee for the Olympic Games, rips the self-appointed American Taliban who filed an FCC complaint about possible "indecency" during the open ceremonies.

Bravo to Ms. Angelopoulos-Daskalaki. For two weeks this summer the Greeks gave us an Olympiad that was classy and free of terror, and some busybodies have nothing better to do than crap all over it because they may or may not have seen something that might have been a boob or a peepee? Riiiiiiiight.

Can't we ship these god-fearing prudes to a country they'd be happier in, like Saudi Arabia?
