After clocking a big bad five and a half hours of work this week, I've found myself stumbling into an unplanned vacation to fabulous Poughkeepsie-on-the-Hudson this weekend with my wife and the little one. They were all set to go without me, as it looked like getting tomorrow off would be an impossible task. But as the Chorus of Euripides is so fond of saying:
Many are the forms of divine things,
and the gods bring to pass many things unexpectedly;
what is expected has not been accomplished,
but the god has found out a means for doing things unthought of.
So too has this event turned out.
