As the tragic events along the Gulf Coast continue to unfold, I thought I'd share some of the best links for information that I've encountered out in the virtual world thus far:
CNN is doing the best national network coverage by far, although the Weather Channel has also held up admirably during the crisis.
The Times-Picayune may not be printing any papers anytime soon, but it's still bringing the news at NOLA.com.
WWLTV's Katrina Blog is updated several times an hour and tends to break developing stories in New Orleans first.
(The station's main webpage is also a wealth of local information, including evacuation notices and emergency contacts).
Storm Digest is providing a good mix of round-the-clock updates and good meteorological analysis.
Dr. Jeff Master's WunderBlog at Weather Underground is good for diehard weather junkies, with lots of science, graphs, and raw data.
And Flickr -- the searchable online picture-sharing app -- has thousands of amateur photos of Katrina's devastation.
